First day

First to wake up!

Surprisingly, I am the first to wake up today! Wah the place really damn dry, must drink a lot of water. Last night, used my autoroam to try to order food, but cannot cos they die die must have a return phone number. Waste my money... dunno call like that is how much. So in the end settled for MZ's myojo mee, the 2 of them ate 1 packet each, hungry me ate 2! hahaha If later got time will post some photos taken so far.. [Edit] it appears that MZ woke up earlier than me. He woke up at 5am! wow |

Reached my temp room

Its 530pm now at Calgary. I have settled in a little in my room in Morley Trail, Calgary. Appears to be quite ulu, no visible amenities nearby. However, the University of Calgary should be 10 minutes walk away, so tomorrow morning will start to explore. For dinner tonight, most likely order take away, don't know can find or not also.. If cannot find then its maggi mee liao.. haha And the rooms quite bad. My room got no lock, so cannot lock, dangerous. Mingzhi's room got no internet access. Only Szeyue got the perfect room. Sigh, we guys are such gentlemen. Anyway when I leave the house I will just dump my valuables into SY's room. Of course, since the rooms are free, cannot complain also. On another note, Calgary seems to be more predominantly French speaking rather than English. |

Hong Kong Airport

Now I am at Hong Kong Airport waiting for my flight to Vancouver. Time now is 2pm, entering soon at 210pm. The SQ plane trip from Singapore to Hong Kong is already boring and tiring enough.. Dunno how I am going to endure this 12+++++ hour trip. Hope Air Canada is comfortable. But hopes are not high, since SQ already so squeezy and uncomfortable liao.. |

Intro

This will be a blog about my experiences in Calgary, Canada. I will be leaving on 28 December, 2005, 0830 and is estimated to reach Calgary on the same day at 1420. Considering that Calgary is 15 hours slower than Singapore, my journey time will be 1420 - 0830 + 1500 = about TWENTY ONE HOURS!!!! SONG AH! Okay today is 26th Dec, Boxing Day and I still have not started packing yet. Hope slack me has time to update this blog when in Calgary, unlike my previous blog which I just leave it to die =P |
